I have just learned what an actual workout is.

I am in College, and I am doing ROTC.  So far, the people are really really cool!  My first workout really really kicked my ass though.  It wasn't a regular workout... no.  I am not even doing the regular ROTC workout.  What I got myself into is known as Ranger Challenge.  It's going to be amazing, but today it kicked my ass.  Woke up at 5:30 am.  Started the workout at 6.  Ran a half of a mile to the course.  Then did a timed mile.  That's as fast as you could go.  Then started the actual workout.  Sprint 1 lap, jog a lap (1/4 mile=lap) then 50 squats, lunges, crunches and 25 pushups.  Not that bad?  Okay... Do it 4 times.  Then grass drills including various wheelbarrel runs, fireman carries, etc.  I puked 3 times during those, but at least I made it through the first day.  A lot of upperclassmen say that they fell out their first day freshman year.

Okay, gotta go to class.  Peace Livewire!

Back.  I did better today!  No puking or the such!  Just one dry heave!  I'm doing way better than a lot of the freshman did last year.  I just hope I can stick with it.  It wasn't as intimidating today.
